Massive Essentials workshops are for those people 20 years and over who are keen to learn how Massive Company creates theatre. You may be a beginner, have some previous training, or be an experienced practitioner - all levels and abilities are welcome. The workshop content changes each time, so is suitable for both those who have attended a previous Massive workshop and those who have not. Numbers are kept to a manageable level, allowing tutors to cater for the specific participants of any given course.

TUTOR: Sam Scott

Sam Scott is the founder and Artistic Director of Massive Theatre Company. She has been directing and teaching in New Zealand and internationally for over 30 years. Sam has a passion for acting, devising, building community through telling stories, and helping people to find a sense of self and confidence through theatre. She enjoys the rewards and challenges of teaching, and opening up new ways of thinking about how theatre can be.
