The Rose sisters journey home for a weekend of birthday celebrations beside their river. Ny, Ru and Rika find themselves caught up in a current of family history, as incomplete truths become whole and the ties that bind their whānau are tested.
‘Half of the Sky’ marks the third work written for Massive Theatre Company by internationally renowned writer and actor Lennie James, and was developed in collaboration with members of the Massive ensemble.
Directed by Sam Scott, ‘Half of the Sky’ is an original work about whānau, and a tale that audiences will find all too familiar.
