Half of the Sky sees an exciting return of the creative partnership between Lennie James and director Sam Scott, whose work together includes the critically acclaimed THE SONS OF CHARLIE PAORA and HAVOC IN THE GARDEN

Lennie is an internationally renown actor/writer.  His recent work being the 2018 TV drama Save Me, and The Walking Dead.

Half of the Sky is a love story that asks, ‘what’s the love you live with and what’s the (old) love you live for?’   What happens when a person returns home after leaving in a blaze of glory and find they no longer belong?

It’s hard to leave home, but sometimes it’s harder to go back.

Timeline:  September 2018 :  Lennie James, Sam Scott and ten Massive Company actors spend two weeks intensively working on developing this project.  One week in Rotorua (home to Massive Theatre's kaumatua), and one week in Auckland.
