Massive Essentials workshops are for people 20 years and over who are keen to learn how Massive Company creates theatre. You may be a beginner, have some previous training, or be an experienced practitioner - all levels and abilities are welcome. The workshop content changes each time, so is suitable for both those who have attended a previous Massive workshop and those who have not. Numbers are kept to a manageable level, allowing tutors to cater for the specific participants of any given course.

TUTOR: Sam Scott

Sam Scott is the founder and Artistic Director of Massive Theatre Company. With a wide range of experience in film, TV and theatre, she has been directing and teaching in New Zealand and internationally for over 30 years. Sam has a passion for acting, devising, building community through telling stories, and helping people to find a sense of self and confidence through theatre. She enjoys the rewards and challenges of teaching, and opening up new ways of thinking about how theatre can be.
