Babble

The beeping and buzzing of technology, noisy traffic, the incessant shouting of social media – it never shuts up. Caught in this constant babble, how do we find stillness?

‘Babble' brings dynamic physicality, inventive imagery, a multi-layered musical soundscape, and a formidable cast of 19 young South Auckland voices to the Māngere Arts Centre stage. Drawing on their own unique experiences and stories, the performers take us on an uplifting journey through the many interruptions of modern life. With their generous support, ‘Babble’ premiered as part of Auckland Arts Festival.

UNFORTUNATELY DUE TO THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK, THE SEASON OF BABBLE WAS CANCELLED AFTER OPENING NIGHT.
